Under the pro­visions set out in his will, Franz-Wal­ter Aumund appoin­ted the char­itable Aumund Found­ation as the sole heir to his estate. With this the Found­ation is the sole share­holder of the AUMUND Group, offer­ing the busi­ness and its employ­ees around the world a stable basis and long-term pro­spects. Whist oper­ational lead­ership of the busi­ness lies with its Man­age­ment Board, decisions with sig­nific­ant stra­tegic or fin­ancial implic­ations are sub­ject to approval by the Super­vis­ory Board of AUMUND Hold­ing B.V. The Aumund Found­ation appoints the Super­vis­ory Board , and in its capa­city as sole share­holder, exer­cises its share­holder vot­ing rights at the Annual Gen­eral Meet­ing.

In accord­ance with the dividend policy the AUMUND Group dis­trib­utes part of its profits to the Aumund Found­ation, which uses these funds to ful­fil its char­itable object­ives. With this struc­ture all employ­ees con­trib­ute to the imple­ment­ation of the Found­ation’s global pro­jects.
