SUPPORT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

The best educational offering is worthless if children and young people are not physically capable of participating in it. Based on this experience the funding of health projects has become a new focus of Franz-Walter Aumund’s philanthropic commitment in recent years. The Founder did not want to fund large anonymous projects but instead change the path of young peoples’ lives in a targeted manner. He always proceeded in this way in his educational funding. Similarly, a large proportion of the health projects of the Aumund Foundation serve to provide individualised aid; funding of heart operations, surgery to correct orthopaedic deformities, and the lengthy treatment of children with cleft lip and palate.

In this way the success of the Foundation’s work has been seen in many faces over recent years.
