Shortly after the Aumund Foundation was established, Franz-Walter Aumund issued his internal funding directives for foundation activities, entitled “Rules for Implementing the Founder’s Objectives”. These are embedded in the foundation charter. The Board is bound to these strategic provisions even after the death of the Founder. The Aumund Foundation is engaged purely in funding and does not pursue any operational foundation activities. It works with a select number of funding partners on long-term projects.
The Aumund Foundation does not consider funding applications unless it has specifically requested them. We appreciate your understanding.
