The targeted selection of funding objectives and measures is the core of the Foundation’s work. Based on Franz-Walter Aumund’s wish to significantly change the lives of underprivileged children and young people for the better all over the world, he decided to concentrate on the funding of education and training alongside health projects. Examples which “make a difference” and enable young people to lead a self-determined life are the funding of lifesaving operations and the awarding of scholarships.
It was always important to him not to forget his roots. With targeted scientific projects he has preserved the memory of the founder of the company.
