ARCHEMED

We are supporting our new project partner, Archemed, with its missions in children’s surgery in Eritrea. Around 300 volunteers from Germany and neighbouring countries are committed to the medical care of children and the sustainable development of medical infrastructure. The project teams not only consist of highly qualified medical practitioners, but depending on the character of the project, architects, engineers and tradespeople also donate their time to the good cause.

In recent years Archemed has created and maintained valuable clinic infrastructure, including a surgical centre for children, Eritrea’s first new-born intensive care unit, and a burns clinic, all of which bear witness to the valuable work of the organisation.

We are looking forward to further project ideas which we can implement together to continue the expansion of medical care for children in need.
