Shortly after the Aumund Found­ation was estab­lished, Franz-Wal­ter Aumund issued his internal fund­ing dir­ect­ives for found­ation activ­ities, entitled “Rules for Imple­ment­ing the Founder’s Object­ives”. These are embed­ded in the found­ation charter. The Board is bound to these stra­tegic pro­visions even after the death of the Founder. The Aumund Found­ation is engaged purely in fund­ing and does not pur­sue any oper­ational found­ation activ­ities. It works with a select num­ber of fund­ing part­ners on long-term pro­jects.

The Aumund Found­ation does not con­sider fund­ing applic­ations unless it has spe­cific­ally reques­ted them. We appre­ciate your under­stand­ing.
